Does BassRadar work on my lake?
If your lake is in the U.S. and shows up in standard weather coverage (Open-Meteo), BassRadar works. Save up to 10 spots and rotate them by season.
What species does it cover?
Black bass — largemouth, smallmouth, spotted. The five-factor scoring engine is tuned for bass behavior specifically. No saltwater or other freshwater species.
How are notifications timed?
Push alerts fire about an hour before the prime bite window opens (the window itself starts ~30 minutes before sunrise), and only when a saved spot scores at or above your threshold (default 7.0).
Where does the AI come from?
The Pattern Predictor uses an LLM to select from a curated catalog of zones, lures, and approaches. It does not generate freeform — no fake lake names, no hallucinated baits.
Is the catch log private?
Yes. Catches are stored against your account using Sign in with Apple. They aren't shared, leaderboarded, or visible to other anglers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID in Settings, and the 7-day free trial is risk-free.
Will it tell me where to find a hawg?
It will tell you when conditions favor a feed, where on the water bass are most likely staging given the day's pattern, and what to throw. The cast is up to you.
